I've thought up this pic some months ago. First it was Space Battleship Yamato fanart, as you can see on sketches. Then, when I've started to color them, I've realized that I'm drawing my OCs (Ecstaziy and Ella), not Lord Dessler and Starsha. 0_o
That's the first drawing for my new idea. It's about retrofuturistic republic, kinda USSR in 2112...))) But not so much about this republic... It's about my thoughts and emotions for now, wrapped in Dieselpunk-Art-Deco style. About something personal.

INFLUENCES Of course.
Sure, Art Deco style and the epoch of 1920-30-40-50s... Stalin's Empire Style, National-Classicism, American Art Deco...
60-70s USSR with our Gagarin, Space propaganda posters and retrofuturistic cartoons about space. (:
Sure, Leiji matsumoto's Space Battleship Yamato and Interstella 5555.
Art Nouveau and Mucha's women.
Quote "tomorrow that never was" (c) #RaypunkWonders... I hope they won't beat me for writing their quote in my artwork... XD
STOCK AND REFS
Art Deco pattern from [link] (typed "Art Deco pattern" in Google and found it) Building - one of Stalin's Empire time projects (modified by me). Taken from my teacher's book Stars and planets - NASA photos from Wikipedia My beloved painting brushes by *Stalcry
HUGELY reminds me of the art style used in an animation about three Kossacks. I grew up with this sort of thing- the 70s animated films especially. Fucking awesome stuff!
